Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers an amazing view of Mount Titlis and is illuminated from the outside, but the rooms are old-fashioned, noisy, and have limited outlets. The warm and helpful service team cared about their guests, although their knowledge on skiing conditions was lacking. The location is incredibly beautiful, overlooking the entire village, with easy access to the Engelberg railway station. The dining options are ample and complete, providing good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although spacious, felt a bit tired with creaky floorboards and an old-style bathroom. However, being situated on the top floor offered a nice touch. The service was exceptional, with warm and helpful staff who truly cared about their guests. The location was fantastic, providing stunning views and easy access to the village. Dining was a highlight with ample and diverse options. Facilities were decent, catering to various needs.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, with beautiful views from the small balcony in the room. The spaciousness was great, although it lacked a bit of coziness. The comfort and the stunning window views made up for it. The welcoming service along with daily breakfast and dinner buffets added to the charm of the stunning location.
My stay at the hotel was truly a mixed experience. The breathtaking view from the balcony was mesmerizing, yet the room decor felt a bit outdated. Despite the comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms, the tired furnishings and hard beds were a downside. The service, which highlighted local charm and was exceptionally friendly, made up for some of the shortcomings. The location was convenient, with easy access to the town center but the dining experience left much to be desired with limited food options.
I had a great stay at the hotel with some ups and downs. The rooms were decently priced for the area and offered a fantastic view, although spending on food can add up. The service was a mix of rude encounters but also delightful moments, especially with the friendly and professional staff. The location was excellent for skiers and had a perfect setting, though it was a bit small. Dining options were modest overall, and the facilities were fantastic.
